Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at the Cock Hotel, and let me tell you, it was a delightful surprise! The room was spacious, clean, and even cozy enough to feel like a home away from home—definitely a perk for a weary traveler like me. The staff, particularly the owner, were incredibly warm and accommodating; they made checking in a breeze, even when I arrived a bit late. One of the highlights was the dinner in the bar. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but the food was a standout—freshly made and served with a lovely presentation. I particularly enjoyed the generous supply of tea and coffee in the room, perfect for those lazy mornings. Plus, the hotel is in a quiet village, making it an ideal retreat after a busy day exploring the local sights. I can’t wait to return and experience another lovely stay!
